Hi! I'm Char (or Charnel, or Charli, or Charlotte). This is my personal site - a place to share my creative projects and writing and things that interest me, to keep a virtual diary, to write about what I'm reading, and a personal digital sandbox to play in. I grew up making little websites and games using HTML & javascript and I missed the freedom of expression that came with that. As I've taken up a personal journaling practice, I've missed having a digital space of my own to be creative in - and so this is that.
I love scifi and fantasy, have a minor obsession with the stories of Lancelot and the Knights of the Round Table, and I enjoy martial arts and papercrafts. I read a lot of books and watch a lot of movies with my partners, and like to write about the things we talk about and the ideas contained therein. A lot of what I post here will probably be about those things.
All of the HTML, CSS, and javascript on these pages were written by me, with the help of googling & zonelets. All of the images were made in GIMP by me using public domain images. Feel free to use any of it without my permission!
